From Tallinn: Guided Bog-Shoe Hiking Tour

4.9 (24 verified reviews)

Before you book

  • This hike is not in Lahemaa. It goes to Kõnnu Suursoo in the North-Kõrvemaa Nature Reserve, just south of the Tallinn–Narva road, about an hour's drive from Tallinn.
  • From 23 April to 24 June, bog-shoeing in protected bogs needs the manager's permission. The listing doesn't say how it handles those weeks, so ask the operator before booking a date in them.
  • Minimum age 10, with moderate fitness; not suitable for people with mobility impairments. Tell the operator in advance about any health condition that could affect you.
  • Wear waterproof hiking boots or hire rubber boots for a little extra. Snacks and water are not included, so bring water and rain gear. Storms can cancel the hike, with a refund.
  • Meet in front of the Tallinn Tourist Information Centre at Niguliste 2; the trip returns there after four to five hours.
